What you may not know about our vets:

□ There are more than 19.3 million U.S. veterans and 9.4 million are older than 65.

□ Approximately 49,933 are homeless and 50% suffer from service related disabilities. Two thirds deal with substance abuse problems.

□ At least one in five veterans has PTSD as a result of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars.

□ At least 22 U.S veterans commit suicide every day… which is 1 every 65 minutes. About thirty percent of all vets have considered suicide.

□ One in every 5 suicides taking place nationally is a veteran.
